PLANNING PROCESS
The stages of a typical planning application are:
Getting all the plans and documentation ready to submit to Council.
After the application is lodged the Council will conduct an initial assessment and request any further information.
The Council will share details of the application to anyone that could be impacted to seek any submissions from them.
After advertising the Council will do a detailed report to make their decision on the application.
Once the decision is made the Council will inform you of the outcome.
If a planning permit is approved, the plans will also need to be approved, which is called endorsement.
