Inner City Development

This project was for two new contemporary dwellings within a small inner-city allotment in Richmond. The proposal required dispensations for a number of requirements such as car parking and side setbacks, as is typical for inner-city developments.

The application attracted objections from a number of neighbours and was required to go up to a Council Meeting.  However, we had worked closely with the Council from the start of the process and had officer support going into the Council Meeting.  The Councillors voted to approve the development and none of the objectors sought to take it to VCAT, clearing the way for construction to commence.
